This policy explains what personal data Hidden Hungary handles. The controller is Valentin Sarić (private individual, publishing as Polybook Press), Kriska 107, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, valllentinsaric1@gmail.com.

Payments

Checkout, payment and invoices are handled by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record, with its payment processor. Polar collects your name, email, billing country and payment details under Polar’s privacy policy. We never see your card details. From Polar we receive your order details and email address so that we can deliver and support your purchase.

Browsing

The site is hosted by here.now, which keeps basic visit statistics (page views) and standard server logs. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers (your IP address is sent to Google). We do not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies. Your reading-pass key is stored only in your own browser and checked with Polar when you open the library.

Emails you give us

If you write to us, use the “Request a book” form or sign up for free stories (sent with Kit), we keep your email only to reply and send what you asked for; every email has an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its use. Email valllentinsaric1@gmail.com; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Croatian data protection authority (AZOP) or the authority in your country.

Keeping data

We keep order records as long as tax law requires, and other emails only as long as needed to answer you.
